Distribution Batch Process Enhancements
Current Functionality:
The application currently supports this feature in On-Premise deployments, where process assignment and daemon server start and stop are configured at the registry level, indicating that it is a backend functionality. To begin operation, the daemon process must be started on all available servers by default, and no specific server allotment can be made. The application does not support Cloud Deployments.
Enhancement:
With the latest build, the distribution configurations now include a UI that allows the user to configure the server settings individually. Daemon servers can be assigned to a specific server or servers, and once the batch process is completed, the servers associated with the daemon processes will turn off automatically, without manual intervention.
Benefits:
Distribution batch process - Cloud support
Automated start and stop of Daemon Engine Servers
No manual intervention
Efficient hardware utilization/Improves Horizontal Scaling support
