Hybrid Client

Current Functionality:

The application currently supports the sequential dispatch of SMS and Email. SMS and Email are currently performed separately, and their jobs vary depending on the load. In most cases, SMS dispatching will be faster due to the compact size and varying process speeds, whereas email dispatching will be slightly slower depending on how heavy the emails are. Job statuses are updated synchronously in the application's internal table.

Enhancement:

This feature update improves the performance of email and SMS jobs. This is an internal update that allows for the simultaneous dispatch of SMS and email messages. However, SMS and Email priority can be configured, allowing for the possibility of sending Email first and then SMS, or vice versa.

In terms of template configurations, the SMS and Email clients are combined into a single entity. As a result, the template contains only one mapping configuration for client indexing purposes. Similarly, an asynchronous job status update has been added to the existing synchronous update, which will pick up the next job in parallel or asynchronous mode rather than only after the current job update.

Benefits:

  • Dispatch communications at the same time

  • Communication priority configurations

  • Improved application performance

  • Improved SLAs

  • Roadmap for WhatsApp and other channels

  • Single Hybrid Client entity mapping for both SMS and Emails

  • Asynchronous updates help improve the performance
