Job Segregation/Filtering
Current Functionality:
The application currently supports the processing by pushing all the received jobs to idle Process/Email/SMS/DCM/Hybrid/Other Clients. There is no hardware segregation or priority that can be configured for on-the-fly jobs.
Enhancement:
The new feature enables granular job segregation and filtering based on templates, groups, departments, Lines of Business (LOBs), or organizational units within the business. This provides flexibility to allocate additional hardware or server resources specifically to designated templates, groups, LOBs, or organizations. Additionally, users can assign priorities to individual jobs independently.
These capabilities facilitate efficient hardware sizing and planning, resulting in optimized resource allocation. By tailoring hardware and server resources to specific templates or job groups, organizations can enhance performance and responsiveness. This level of control enables efficient hardware and server segregation, ensuring that critical jobs receive the necessary resources to meet their requirements.
Benefits:
Granular Job Segregation: The ability to segregate jobs based on templates, groups, departments, LOBs, or organizational units allows for better organization and management of tasks.
Flexible Resource Allocation: Users can allocate more hardware or server resources to specific templates, groups, LOBs, or organizations as needed, optimizing resource utilization.
Optimized Hardware Sizing and Planning: Efficient allocation of hardware resources based on job segregation improves overall system performance and responsiveness.
Improved Resource Utilization: Tailoring hardware and server resources to individual job categories or priority levels ensures optimal utilization of available resources.
Streamlined Workload Management: Efficient hardware and server segregation for individual jobs streamlines workload management, ensuring that each task receives appropriate resources.
Increased System Efficiency, by aligning hardware resources with specific job categories, the feature enhances system efficiency and supports scalable operations.
These benefits collectively contribute to efficient hardware and resource management, enabling organizations to optimize performance, prioritize critical tasks, and streamline workload distribution effectively.
