PDF Go to Page Action

Current Functionality:

The application does not support this feature currently.

Enhancement:

In the latest version of the application, a new feature has been introduced to enhance the customer's PDF viewing experience and improve interactivity. This functionality enables navigation within PDF documents, allowing viewers to click on specific defined text or images within the PDF. When a viewer clicks on a designated object, such as a table, text, image, or chart, the viewer will be redirected to a different page within the PDF document.

This capability not only enhances customers' experience by adding interactive elements to PDFs, but it also facilitates ease of understanding communication by routing viewers/users directly to the needed sections. To configure this functionality, designers must associate the click action with a specific design object. This action defines the behavior when a user interacts with the object. Importantly, the navigation is independent of the current page's location within the PDF, resulting in seamless transitions based on user interactions.

It's important to note that this functionality is dependent on the capabilities of PDF viewers and software to support the 'Go to Page' action, enhancing user interactivity and engagement.

Benefits:

  • Enhanced Customer Experience: The feature improves customer experience by adding interactive navigation to PDF documents, increasing engagement and usability.

  • Increased Interactivity: Adding interactive elements to PDFs enhances user engagement and allows for direct interaction with specific actions.

  • Improved Communication Clarity: By routing viewers/users to specific sections based on their interactions, the feature aids in understanding communication more effectively, ensuring users access relevant information seamlessly.
